Description
Rhipsalis cacti grow in nature in the branches of trees similar to tropical orchids or bromeliads. This species is recommended as a low-maintenance houseplant and always finds a nice place, no matter what room.
Rhipsalis form aerial roots and richly branched green shoots. The latter are usually cylindrical and rounded, in some Rhipsalis species also angular, ribbed or flat. They perform the function of photosynthesis, since cacti do not form proper leaves. The special feature of the growth of the mostly hanging shoots is that numerous new shoots always develop at the tips of the old shoots, making the plants more and more lush towards the top.
We supply this easy-care plant in a macramé hanging. The whole has a length of about 80cm. The hanging device is already included.
